Franklin Bear Pattern

Franklin is a 30cm heirloom bear. He has very floppy joints and is heavily filled with steel shot pellets. The weight and the floppy joints just make him lovely to hold and cuddle. Here he has been made from a distressed mohair but any fur fabric would be suitable. He is suitable for the intermediate bear maker as he has a non-standard jointing system using wood joints and cotter pins. Franklin is just adorable – you won’t be able to put him down.
